Gauteng provincial InvestSA produces a one-stop shop where investors receive strategic guidance with specialized advisory services and access to various government departments involved in regulation and approval of permits and licenses. The co-ordination of various government departments under the initiative will reduce time for obtaining permits, regulatory inefficiencies, and eliminate red-tapism. With InvestSA, the Government sends a strong message that South Africa welcomes foreign direct and local investment. The re-launch of InvestSA in Gauteng on April 10, 2018 could improve South Africa’s ease of doing business over a 2 to 4 year period according to South Africa’s Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr. Rob Davies.
